What is rebounding?

Rebounding is a dynamic form of aerobic exercise performed on a fitness trampoline, or what we call a ‘rebounder.’ It’s not just about jumping up and down – rebounding encompasses a huge mix of movements and exercises, from high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and dance-inspired cardio to strength training and targeted muscle toning. 

The workout is adaptable; you can tailor your workout to match your fitness level and preferences. This makes it a fun, effective, and efficient way to achieve your health goals.

We'd be remiss if we didn't mention the group of muscles between the tailbone and the pubic bone getting all the attention as of late: the pelvic floor. The good news? Regular U JUMP training will help you strengthen this area. Jumping supports the pelvic floor and sexual health by working the muscles of the deep core that help bladder and bowel movement, prevent urinary incontinence, and stabilise hip joints.

 

Rebounding is fantastic for lymphatic health! The up-and-down movement stimulates lymphatic drainage, helping your body eliminate toxins and waste products, ultimately boosting your immune system and overall well-being.

The frequency of your U JUMP workouts depends on your individual fitness goals and schedule. We recommend starting with 1-2 classes per week and gradually increasing the frequency as your fitness level improves.

Wear comfortable workout clothes that allow you to move freely. Supportive sneakers/trainers are required for this class. We also recommend bringing a water bottle to stay hydrated throughout your workout.
